We’ll have many of our products available for purchase and will discuss our company, our products and the history, manufacture and applications of industrial pressed wool felt.

International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF)

We’re packing up the felt and heading to the Javits for the four-day design extravaganza (otherwise known at ICFF!) We’ll have a felt installation created specifically for the ICFF, be passing out a giveaway product and talking lots of felt. Come visit us in booth no. 801 and say hi!

Minneapolis-based Tia Salmela Keobounpheng of silvercocoon lasercuts our 3mm felt for her bracelets. Wrists rejoice!
Submaterial
Wall panel 068 uses our 3mm felt in an assemblage of 284 hand-cut felt components on a wood subpanel by Seattle-based Submaterial.
FUZ
The brainchild of Josh Jakus, FUZ is a new line of thoughtful and playful home goods produced in felt, recycled rubber and cork. (The felt is our fav!)

For jewelry designer, Michele Mercaldo’s, autumn window display, our 3mm felt was used to create cross-sectional pieces in her Boston studio.

For their Fall 2009 collection entitled Jacques and the Jewel Thief, Brooklyn-based Death by Drone incorporated our felt into this cheeky, bejeweled handbag. And our pink never looked better!
Alissa C. Jones
Alissa, a furniture design student at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), laser cut our 2mm thick felt for use in her Felt Up collection.

Joshua Stone
Also a Boston-based designer who adores felt (and our dogs!), Joshua got first dibs on a dual-colored 5mm felt which we plan to launch in 2010.
Arthur Hash
Traci’s been a fan of Arthur Hash for some time and owns more than few of his brooches but we were thrilled when he contacted us about incorporating our wool felt into his jewelry line. You’ll also spot our felt used for display at Arthur’s booth at the American Craft Council Show in Baltimore.

Okay, okay, so Kelly is one of the owners of FilzFelt but her product-design company is one of our best customers! Her fabulous six-pack wine rack and placemaths coasters are made from our dual-colored 100% wool felt.
