Please join Spinneybeck | FilzFelt at NeoCon as a new acoustic wall system and desktop screen get in on our architectural product line. Scale is a slotted, three-dimensional module wall system and one of our upcoming desktop screens—Just Fold It—has individual faceted panels that fold together for easy portability and storage. Scale and Just Fold It will be previewed at NeoCon and available late-summer of 2017. These new high-performing architectural products highlight our love of all things natural and will be integrated into the Knoll Showroom on the 11th floor of the Merchandise Mart from June 12–14.

Designed by German design collective, Cabs Design, Scale is a slotted module system made of cut and folded acoustic fiber composite with a 100% wool felt face. The acoustically effective, three-dimensional modules provide optimum acoustic absorption with customizable configurations and color patterning.
As 100% Wool Design Felt is a nonwoven textile, it does not fray and allows for applications and installations not possible with any other textile. ‘Unscripted’ is CNC cut wool felt applied as a textural (and acoustic) wallcovering.
The Submaterial Collection is fabricated in two natural materials—wool felt and cork composite backing—to thoughtfully take advantage of 100% wool felt’s thickness and rigidity in dimensional, acoustically absorptive wallcoverings.
Just Fold It is a flexible and lightweight desktop screen with individual faceted panels that fold together for easy portability and storage. The length of the screen can be adjusted by adding or subtracting modules, making this design endlessly adjustable.
Initially inspired by techniques used in traditional cork shoe sole molding, Norwegian designer Lars Beller Fjetland’s sound absorbing composite cork wall tiles take cues from street grids and factory buildings in a customizable system of modular tiles made from recycled cork from wine stoppers.
