In Situ at SFMOMA in Interior Design
October 21, 2016
At In Situ, the new restaurant designed by Aidlin Darling Design and opened in tandem with Snøhetta’s renovation and expansion of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the menu is as curated as the museum’s collections. The natural color palette of the gallery-esque space includes steel, glass, wood furnishings, and poured concrete floors. The internal walls are covered in Akustika 10 Wall panels covered in 175 Graphit, to control acoustics, or painted white, to host art.
