‘Hear, See, Play: Designing with Sound’

November 13, 2017

ARO Array 4 Hanging Panels are included in a new exhibition entitled ‘Hear, See, Play: Designing with Sound’ at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Installed in the museum’s Process Lab (and designed by Architecture Research Office specifically for it), this interactive exploration focuses on how designers use and create sounds to enhance the user experience and give objects human-like personalities. Visitors will test their newfound knowledge by designing their own sound effects for Trash Bot, a robotic street-cleaning machine. The panels are displayed in room 103 of the Carnegie Mansion at 2 East 91st Street through July 29, 2018.
