The Health Sciences Center for Texas Woman’s University by SmithGroup defines a major investment in the future of healthcare education in Texas and a significant milestone for TWU as it celebrates its 125th anniversary this year. SmithGroup designed the building to support health education and community services, based on the idea that providing the highest-quality healthcare is a collaborative effort that integrates advanced technology and spaces for interprofessional, interdisciplinary, real-world training.

At the entrance, a show-stopping ARO Plank 1 installation welcomes students and visitors with a dramatic palette of pinks and burgundies. The planks run horizontally, following the curves of the wall, creating an eye-catching statement and playful backdrop for the lobby’s front desk.
