Banking (and finishes) get simple at a Portland headquarters
For the new offices of the ‘anti-bank’, Simple, Hacker Architects sought to create a zen-like workplace that feels like home rather than a corporate headquarters. Spaces to accommodate collaborative as well as quiet, focused work create informality in a minimal palette of natural materials and subdued colors. In a conference room, a sound-absorbing feature wall of custom Index Linear features dimensional bands of charcoal grey tones (175 Graphit and 300 Anthrazit). Elsewhere in conference rooms, private phone booths, and banquette seating in a café, 2mm Wool Design Felt wraps acoustic panels in the natural wool hues of beige (150 Weiß) and light grey (170 Asche).
