When the San Diego Union Tribune returned to its downtown San Diego roots in a twenty-four-story tower, Gensler aimed to make the space reflect the changes that have taken place in publishing. The space is sleek and contemporary, located in a neighborhood that has been reinvented as a high-tech, innovation hub. The monochromatic space features bright blue pops of color throughout. ARO Plank 2 in the bright blue hue of 686 Enzian provides soft (but colorful) contrast to the sleek finishes of stone, exposed concrete walls, and glass and makes quite an impact on visitors.
